Yes, what indeed a state of affairs we are in. It makes me sad to the point of tears of how much has changed and is going on right now. We are under attack and we just sit there and take it or we fight for a little bit then get distracted with something else. We, Christian men, are under attack, a serious attack, that SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. But guess what it is going on around me. The level of disrespect that goes on just shocks me. I mean come on my fellow Christian men what are we doing with each other. We treat each other with disrespect and hate that it boggles the mind. Where is the love that Jesus Christ said we are to have one for another, huh. Did you think in your mind that it doesn't apply to you? Well, guess what my brother it does apply to you. How can you sit there and let your fellow brother in Christ fall into sin? All the while you sit on the sidelines judging him with the judgment that is reserved for Jesus himself. Why must you sit and ignore your fellow brother who is going through a difficult test or trial in his life? Is it because you're so afraid that the test or trial in their life comes on to you. What if Jesus said that to the woman who about to be stoned to death for committing adultery I can't help you because you have sinned and you're going to bust hell wide open for it. Are you that smart and strong in the Lord that can't reach out to that brother? I pray that is not the answer because that kind of arrogance is mind blowing. Oh, wait a minute is it the test or trial that your fellow brother is going through. Okay, for an example your brother might be going to the spirit of homosexuality. And you have been placed to help them see the acts they are doing as sinful in the eyes of God and lead them back to the will of God has for their lives. Now, I am speaking of a Christian man who is going through this struggle with the spirit of homosexuality. Of course, you my brother didn't have to do deal with that spirit because God didn't need you to go through that. But he gave you empathy or an understanding of the situation that surrounds the brother. For example, you might know about the things he's doing with guys but you might relate to something else that might have led him to go down through this trial.
And to my brothers that themselves are going through this trial or test or any other except the help of these brothers. These brothers are here to help you when you'll need the most. Pushing them away just makes you look bad and you're telling God that he was wrong for doing it. Or is it that you just want to have more "fun" in the sinful lifestyle of the sin. Or is it that you are so afraid that the brother will judge you so bad and harshly that you turn away from God all together. Well, my brother I pray that is not the answer because you can't turn away from God and let go of his unchanging hand no matter how bad you want to let go. YOU WERE SAVED FOR A REASON THAT IS ONLY KNOWN UNTO GOD. And running from it and him while he sends brothers your way to remind you that God has and will always love you so stop your running and talk to that person. It won't hurt you because God would never hurt you because God is love and as it says in John 3:16 that "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" who died on the cross for not this sin that you're in but all sins. Isn't great that we serve a God like that?
Is it my prayer that we all come together as men, Christian men and put away our differences and love each other. That we continue to encourage each other and bless each other with the love of Christ that dwells in each of us. Also that we heed the words of John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." And for those guys out there who might not know Christ but you have heard of Him I suggest you get to know him better for yourself and you might never know who you are talking to. And if such a person is in your life then ask them about the God and his Son, Jesus. Go on and ask it just might change your life.
Be blessed and encouraged
